Profile

Rich is Associate Director Maintenance of Overhaul/Repair (MRO) Engineering for the West Palm Beach, FL. In this role, Rich leads all aspects of Engineering for the West Palm Beach MRO site inclusive of process/methods, manufacturing (machining/grind), and power plant maintenance engineering for the assembly, dis-assembly and test of commercial PW1100G jet engines.

Rich previously served as Associate Director of Process and Methods Engineering for the P&W Aftermarket Operations Geared Turbo Fan product family. In this role Rich was responsible for best practice application, process improvement and technical special procedures training across the entire MRO network.

Prior to that Rich served as Associate Director of Assembly Engineering for P&W Systems Engineering and Validation (SEV) team where he was responsible for all tooling and process procedures for the assembly of all of P&W’s validation engines and rigs used during product validation.

Rich has 25+ years in various roles in engineering, operations and quality within P&W’s Connecticut based operation before moving to West Palm Beach, FL in 2019.

Growing up in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts, Winquist earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and an MBA from the Western New England University.

Rich is married with two daughters and lives in Jupiter, FL. While away from work Rich enjoys playing golf and basketball with his daughters.
