Profile

Arjan de Jong (1968) received his BEng in Aeronautical Engineering from Haarlem Polytechnic and his MSc in Aviation Management from the University of Southampton. Arjan received his PhD in Aerospace Engineering & Management from the Technical University Delft. He worked for the Schreiner Aviation Group in the Netherlands and the CHC Helicopter Corporation in Vancouver, BC, Canada. He held various operational and strategic positions in maintenance, engineering and asset management. He works at the Royal Netherlands Aerospace Centre - NLR since 2009, most recently as Program Manager, Maintenance Engineering, Management & Technology. His team provides maintenance services and develops innovative maintenance technologies.
