Richard Furey is a partner in Holland & Knight's New York office. Mr. Furey focuses his practice on international and United States domestic asset and infrastructure finance including significant experience in the aviation sector. With over 25 years of experience in cross-border leasing and financing transactions, Mr. Furey regularly represents leasing companies, lenders, airlines and operators in a wide range of transactions, including operating leases, finance leases, secured loans, single aircraft and portfolio purchase/sale transactions, sale-leasebacks, securitizations, debt and lease restructurings, repossessions and foreclosures. Mr. Furey is Counsel to The Wings Club Foundation, and is a member of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT). Mr. Furey is a licensed attorney in the US States of New York, Connecticut and Florida, and is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
