Rod Sands is Executive Vice President of Jet Parts Engineering; he has been involved with Design Engineering and FAA Certification of aircraft engines, systems and equipment for over 35 years. Mr. Sands was an Associate Technical Fellow at Boeing Commercial Airplanes, working as a Systems Engineer and FAA DER for 16 years. Mr. Sands began working as a diesel engine mechanic before earning Degrees in Mechanical and Electronics Engineering from Oregon Institute of Technology.
