Al Wood currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Aquila Air Capital a Warburg Pincus portfolio company. Al most recently served as CFO Boeing Commercial Services, prior to this role he served as Head of M&A, Boeing Global Services. Prior to joining The Boeing Company, Al was a Partner at Comvest Partners, a middle market private equity firm. Prior to joining Comvest, Al was President and Chief Executive Officer of 321 Aviation Group, a specialized aviation consulting firm that he founded. He also served as an Operating Partner at Sagewind Capital, a private equity firm, where he focused on equity investments in aerospace.

Prior to Sagewind Capital and 321 Aviation Group, Al was the Chief Commercial Officer at AeroTurbine Inc, part of AerCap Inc. (NYSE: AER); aerospace's largest commercial aircraft lessor. During his tenure, the company was able to grow 5x organically and was successfully sold to International Lease Finance Corp. who was later acquired by AerCap. Prior to joining AeroTurbine he served in various roles at AAR Corp. (NYSE: AIR), a provider of aftermarket aviation services. Prior to joining AAR, Al was a commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force serving in various flight, operations, and maintenance roles. Al is a graduate of J.L. Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University where he earned an MBA and Michigan State University where he earned a BA in Political Science.
