Rikard de Jounge is Vice President of Asset Valuation at AVITAS and an ISTAT Certified Senior Appraiser, Fellow. He is responsible for the development and maintenance of AVITAS’s valuation and lease rate models and is actively engaged in day-to-day appraisals, modelling and forecasting work. He is also responsible for the development, functionality, and upkeep of AVITAS Online Aircraft Value and Engine Value Systems.
Rikard de Jounge has 30+ years of experience in the aviation industry and prior to joining AVITAS in 2005 he worked at Boeing and McDonnell Douglas in the areas of Customer Engineering, Flight Test and Aero Performance Certification.
Rikard de Jounge is a graduate from Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH, Royal Institute of Technology) Stockholm Sweden with a MS in Aeronautical Engineering.
Rikard de Jounge served on ISTAT Appraiser Program Board of Governors during 2016 through 2020 where some of his contributions included mentoring, training and certification of ISTAT Appraiser Candidates from throughout the worldwide aviation finance community.
