As Global Aerospace Product Manager at Kuehne + Nagel, Marcelo is responsible for KN EngineChain – an award winning and innovative logistic product for transportation of Aircraft Engines and a combination of logistics’ value added solutions. He has over 16 years of International Freight Forwarding experience with focus on Aerospace and held several managing positions in different regions in Kuehne + Nagel.
Supply Chain is one of top three areas for critical digital investment. With rapidly changing economic and environmental scenarios it`s essential to upgrade Supply Chain positions to strategic levels, directly to the planning table. Digital and data driven solution are key to anticipate and simulate risks, improve efficiency and find sustainable solution.
Marcelo started his career in 2005 and has being leading strategic aerospace transportation contracts for OEM`s, MRO and Operators around the world. He has being instrumental for the successful launch of the end-to-end transport solution dedicated for Aircraft Engines, KN EngineChain - and since 2018 appointed to lead this product with strong focus on operational excellence, digitalization and sustainability.
