Ivan is Chief Technical Officer for SES Ltd the world’s largest lessor of CFM56 and LEAP engines. Ivan joined SES in 1999 as an Engineering Manager having previously held Team leader and licensed aircraft engineer roles with Shannon Aerospace Ltd. Ivan joined SES in 1999 as an Engineering Manager with responsibility for customer project management having previously held Team leader and licensed aircraft engineer roles with Shannon Aerospace Ltd. Ivan is in his current position since 2008, where he is responsible for leading the Technical function in SES overseeing all aspects of technical lease management, supplier relationships, CFM56 and LEAP portfolio management, engine maintenance and shop visits of the SES owned and managed portfolio of engines.
Ivan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aviation Technology from the Dublin Institute of Technology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership from University College, Cork.
