Pritpal Surdhar or more commonly known as “Bilo” has over 28 years of aviation experience.
Based in the Washington Customer Service Center, Bilo leads the delivery of products and services to civil engine customers in the Americas. This includes MRO services, On-Wing Services, Spare Engine Services, Line Replaceable Parts Services to name a few.
Previous roles include VP of Customer Business for Rolls-Royce Engine Services Oakland, Director and General Manager of Rolls-Royce On-Wing Care North America and several customer facing roles supporting customer business for civil large engines while based in the United Kingdom and medium and small engines in based in Hartford Connecticut and Reston Virginia respectively.
Prior to joining Rolls-Royce North America, Bilo worked for Mesa Airlines for over 13 years and held various roles from aircraft technician up to Director of Maintenance and Technical Operations.
Bilo graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1995 and possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management.
During his time at Rolls-Royce, he has received recognition awards for his efforts in the Rolls-Royce improvement journey to process excellence and earned his green belt accreditation. He also received a “Trusted to Deliver Excellence Award” for developing the Trent 1000 Module Swap Near Wing capability.
Bilo is a keen cyclist and raced for the Kenyan national cycling team. Keeping up with his passion of cycling, he actively participates/completes in various cycling events and raises money for various charities.
