Lloyd Barker serves as Senior Vice President – LEAP Program Industrialization and is responsible for standing up StandardAero’s LEAP-1A/-1B engine MRO program in San Antonio, which is the largest potential program in StandardAero’s history and awarded in March, 2023. He is a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team.
He joined StandardAero as Senior Vice President, Engineering & Quality in February, 2018 and led the company’s technology development, engineering, quality and environmental functions. Prior to joining StandardAero, Barker served as Director, Corporate Quality for Arconic Inc., a $12.5B company specializing in lightweight multimetals engineering and manufacturing products which are used worldwide in aerospace, automotive, commercial transportation, packaging, building and construction, oil and gas, defense, consumer electronics and
industrial applications. In this position his principal responsibilities he led the development of Arconic’s global Quality Assurance strategy, providing corporate governance and risk oversight to assure process and product integrity while ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
